This has been a great year for rare coins! In fact, we’ve now had three great years in a row, each year being even better than the last.

We’re definitely in a bull market and prices are obviously on the move. The summer is usually a strong time for the rare coin market. There are several extremely important shows, the show season culminating in the annual convention of the American Numismatic Association, held every August in a different city. This ANA show is always the most important show of the year. There are always several huge auctions, attending dealers bring out their special coins, collectors plan their vacations around the show…it’s a truly special event.

With the market in heat and getting hotter by the day, this is a good time for action. If you’re a buyer, there will be more coins available in the next 60 days than at any other time of the year.
